Join Selby Tiger Sharks

Do you want to take your swimming to the next level? Do you want to be part of a club that embraces the social side of team sport while reaching for the stars? We can’t wait to hear from you! 

Applicants must have achieved at least the ‘Learn to Swim’ Level 7 award. 

Selby Tiger Sharks welcomes swimmers of all backgrounds, regardless of race, sex, disability, religion, political beliefs, or sexual orientation. Membership is offered when squad spaces are available and the swimmer has been assessed by our coaching team. The club may only refuse membership for good reason, such as conduct or character likely to bring the squad or the sport into disrepute, or if the swimmer is unable to meet the entry standards required by the coaches. 

Due to pool size, health and safety, and ensuring enjoyment and access to training, squad numbers are limited. Places are allocated by the coaches, who will assess readiness and determine which sessions are offered. All membership notifications are handled by our New Members Officer, Amy Wilson. 

All swimmers are required to register with Swim England, which the club will complete on your child’s behalf. Session costs and Swim England registration fees are available on request.
